Dobson, who has built his career with Morgan Sindall in London, will lead the capital business alongside newly appointed regional commercial director Adam Allen.
The contractor has also expanded its Home Counties operation after a sustained period of growth, creating a new Northern Home Counties Ventures business headed by director Emma Curtis.
Under regional managing director Sean Bradley, the Home Counties business will now operate through three arms: Northern Home Counties, Northern Home Counties Ventures and Southern Home Counties.
The Northern Home Counties operations cover Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire and the north London boroughs.
Rod Pavey, who joined Morgan Sindall in 2025, has been appointed area director of the established Northern Home Counties business.
Curtis will lead the new Ventures arm, targeting opportunities arising from investment in leisure, healthcare and other sectors across the region.
Southern Home Counties will continue under area director Guy Hannell, delivering projects across Surrey, Kent and Sussex.
Morgan Sindall said the expanded structure would give both London and the Home Counties greater dedicated management capacity as the businesses continue to grow.
Managing director Pat Boyle said: “Under Sean Bradley’s leadership, London and the Home Counties have grown to a scale where each deserves its own dedicated focus.”
